Operations Lead Specialist - Trade Management

About the role

The Operations Lead Specialist Trade Management is responsible for enhancing productivity, reducing risk profile, and improving the client experience related to complex and client-specific security-related transactions. These specialists serve as subject matter experts for ETF processing activities.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on developments in the broader ETF ecosystem
• Serve as a point of contact for external authorized participants regarding daily servicing and inquiries
• Create/redeem order management monitoring
• Fund onboarding
• Collateral management
• Independently manage client-specific processes and provide daily feedback and reporting
• Manage the order lifecycle
• Perform various edit checks on all electronic trades
• Escalate known or potential issues to management
• Avoid delays and meet deadlines
• Assist team members and supervisors with daily tasks as Subject Matter Expert
• Resolve transaction-related problems using established procedures or client documentation and available systems
• Analyze trends and provide feedback
• Ensure timely response to internal and external requests

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years custody/operations experience
• Excellent proven written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to provide feedback and guidance to clients
• Self-starter, proactive, and objective-oriented
• Ability to execute tasks with little direction and plan time effectively to meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask and deal with competing priorities
• Identify, analyze, resolve, and escalate problems
• Knowledge of one or more product areas within the Firm
• Prior experience in financial services (ETF, Fund Accounting, Custody) is a plus
