Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution and operational readiness.
- Provides troubleshooting, conditioning, and housekeeping while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
- Collaborates with the Assistant Store Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience.
- Participates in Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to deliver on store, department, sales goals, guest engagement, etc.
- Supports the store team in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience.
- Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
- Leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that support the customer experience.
- Processes freight, sorts and stocks products on shelves, including down stocking and end cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized store.
Qualifications And Competencies
- At least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent.
- Background Check will be completed.
- Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; stand or walk for prolonged periods of time; bend, climb, and reach at times.
- The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
- Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior.
- Creates a sense of urgency; promotes teamwork; delegates appropriately; motivates self and team to accomplish objectives.
