Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution and operational readiness.
- Provides troubleshooting, conditioning, and housekeeping while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
- Collaborates with the Assistant Store Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with Company timekeeping policies, meeting labor model standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.
- Participates in Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to deliver on store, department, sales goals, guest engagement, etc., and ensures all tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Supports the store team in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience so the store will operate effectively and profitably.
- Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
- Leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that support the customer experience.
- Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions.
- Processes freight, sorts and stocks products on shelves, including down stocking and end cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, and organized store.
Qualifications And Competencies
- At least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent.
- Background Check will be completed.
- Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms; stand or walk for prolonged periods of time; bend, climb, and reach at times.
- The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
- Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior.
