Overview

• Directs and controls the work process.
• Informs employees of Presort schedules and goals.
• Trains new employees.
• Interprets company policies and procedures to employees, works with employees to resolve job problems.
• Organizes work site, delegates assignments, responsible for scheduling employees and notifying them of their start and quit time, and evaluates work.
• Makes corrections and follows up to see that instructions have been carried out.
• Recommends disciplinary action or termination.
• Keeps supervisor informed of schedules and job progress.
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in their work process.
• Listen to and work with employee grievances.
• Enforces and instructs on safety rules and regulations.
