About the role
The Operations Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of the analytics platform across the LatAm region, serving as the critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. This senior role ensures smooth platform operations, timely issue resolution, and the continuous improvement of data products and services. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in analytics operations, a strong stakeholder management background, and the bilingual communication skills needed to drive outcomes across a distributed, cross-functional organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operational activities for the analytics platform in LatAm
- Serve as primary point of contact for LatAm stakeholders regarding data and analytics needs
- Coordinate with data engineers and BI engineers on pipeline development and dashboard maintenance
- Triage and escalate data quality issues, tracking resolution and communicating status to stakeholders
- Monitor system performance and alert on issues affecting data availability or quality
- Maintain documentation of processes, workflows, and system architecture
- Collect and communicate stakeholder feedback to the central team for prioritization
- Support onboarding of new stakeholders and training on BI tools and self-service analytics
- Participate in incident response and post-mortem activities
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automation
Requirements
- 10-11 years of experience in analytics, data operations, or related fields
- 5+ years in an operations or team lead capacity
- 3+ years supporting analytics platforms in production environments
- Experience working with retail or e-commerce business models
- Strong background in stakeholder management and communication
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to write/debug data queries
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
- Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot)
- Understanding of data pipelines and ETL/ELT concepts
- Familiarity with data quality monitoring and alerting
- Basic Python scripting capability
