Operations Lead

Essential Functions

• Directs, coordinates and oversees warehouse personnel to ensure their time is utilized efficiently to achieve production, quality, sanitation and customer service standards
• Ensures daily forklift safety inspections, and reports any deviations are reported timely to the supervisor/manager
• Ensures equipment is maintained according to company standards
• Confers with management to coordinate flow of product and ensure all safety precautions are followed and taken
• Enforces schedules and estimated labor hours required for effective completion of daily job assignments
• Reports compliance of assigned teams in work areas to operational standards and initiatives
• Participated in the recommendation of Kaizen activities to improve all aspects of the operations
• Performs activities of workers supervised when required or other duties as assigned
• Affixes to maintain the security of the warehouse
• Maintains the highest standards of safety, housekeeping and retain a clean, safe and secure work area
• Carries out the responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and safety rules

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED and two years’ related experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Inspires the trust of others
• Works with integrity and ethically
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office
• Upholds organizational values
