Responsibilities
- Dropping off product to high-profile restaurants around Los Angeles
- Organizing and managing inventory and invoicing
- Aiding with events and trade shows
- Ideating on processes and workflows to prepare for future success
- Trips to fishing ports and our processing facility outside of Seattle
- Supporting the logistics team with vendor communications and customer interactions
- Running financial models to provide business insights and recommendations
- Conducting market research on seafood CPG items and making recommendations on SKUs and packaging
Requirements
- Interest in food, hospitality, and enhancing food quality
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to take on diverse tasks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating via phone and email
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Willingness to be hands-on and assist with various operations
- Access to a car for occasional local errands
Qualifications
- Experience in food, restaurants, or CPG brands
- Knowledge of seafood and/or fishing
- Experience in startup environments
