Role Overview
An Operations Integration Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing high-profile events, meetings, experiments, and operational engagements across Wargaming, Experimentation, and Science & Technology domains.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site primary contact during events, managing logistics, access, security, materials, and vendor coordination.
- Facilitate communication and integration across divisions, handling visit authorizations, facility scheduling, and security for classified and unclassified activities.
- Oversee on-site staff, assign tasks, ensure protocol adherence, resolve issues in real-time, and manage setup and breakdown of event spaces.
- Support post-event reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication to capture lessons learned and ensure operational continuity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in managing complex events or operational engagements, ideally with military or government clients.
- Proven success in executing large-scale or high-profile events and operational activities.
- Strong organizational skills to handle competing priorities in dynamic environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead small teams during time-sensitive operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Business Administration, Security Management, or related fields, or equivalent operational experience.
- Experience with DoD event and security protocols, including support for classified environments (SCI/SAP).
- Ability to develop SOPs, reporting templates, and standardized frameworks for event execution.
Additional Requirements
- Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Willing to perform occasional manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and able to remain stationary for periods of time.
