Forklift operator duties vary across different operations departments, ensuring smooth workflow in HPP/Bottling and Packaging/Packout areas.

Responsibilities

  • Enter transfers accurately and in real-time using NetSuite or RF Smart systems.
  • Use electronic devices for tracking purposes.
  • Operate equipment safely, quickly, and efficiently; report safety concerns or equipment misuse.
  • Properly document and report work-related accidents or incidents.
  • Bottling/HPP:
    • Ensure conveyors do’t back up while fillers run.
    • Complete dunnage tasks daily; load trailers with correct dunnage.
    • Retrieve and return materials to designated areas.
    • Supply HPP operations with bins of juice for bin dumpers.
    • Organize the HPP floor to maintain efficient workflow and prevent juice mixing.
    • Provide empty bins for B1 and B2 bottling processes.
    • Maintain organization and cleanliness in Building 2.
  • Pack-Out/Packaging:
    • Retrieve materials as needed; record them in NetSuite or RF Smart systems.
    • Keep areas organized and pathways clear.
    • Return unused materials to designated locations; document transfers systematically.
    • Assist with placing bins on bin dumpers and organizing rework materials.
    • Wrap pallets securely and document on pallet count sheets in real time.
    • Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily assignments.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements

  • GED/Diploma.
  • Active forklift certification.
  • 1–2 years of forklift operation experience.
  • Proficiency with computers, handheld devices, and data entry in NetSuite.
  • Experience with RF Smart systems.
  • Ability to follow company policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Flexibility to perform various functions depending on the area of operation.
  • Experience assisting supervision, management, leads, and operators.
  • Skilled in paperwork documentation.
  • Machine operator experience.
  • Basic Excel knowledge.
  • Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish); clear and effective communication.
  • Leadership training.

Working Conditions

  • Work in wet refrigerated (below 40°F), dry warehouse (up to 85°F), and/or freezer warehouse (-10°F) environments.
  • Tight work areas with continuous exposure to noisy environments exceeding 85 dBA.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols; mandatory use of PPE (safety glasses, ear protection, steel-toed shoes).
  • Repetitive tasks requiring efficient and safe execution.
  • Basic knowledge of forklift maintenance, routine inspections, and precise loading/unloading.

Physical Demands

  • Stand and walk for the entirety of the shift.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs with continuous motion.
  • Push/pull 100 lbs with continuous motion.
  • Repetitive bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, stooping, squatting, and twisting.
  • Climb ladders and stairs; work at heights when needed.
  • Regular use of hands to handle, grasp, and control objects with good gripping strength and manual dexterity.
  • Occasional exposure to moving machinery.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical exam.

Schedule

1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, with one of the following shift patterns:

  • Monday–Friday
  • Sunday–Thursday
  • Tuesday–Saturday

Flexibility for mandatory overtime. Schedules are limited and assigned based on business needs and staffing availability.

2-week training schedule: Sunday–Thursday, transitioning to the regular assigned schedule afterward.

Pay

$18 – $19/hour, depending on experience.
