Operations Finance Manager-Jackson Mississippi

Job Responsibilities

• Review monthly operational financial reports and assist in preparation of any client facing financial reporting, including reconciliation of client invoices and statements, and any supporting documentation.
• Aid in preparation for annual budget.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports to monitor the performance areas such as labor, direct cost, revenue, expenses, and profit by area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with managers and directors to identify and drive key levers to improve margins.
• Train and motivate staff in financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with operations support as needed.
• Work with teams on budget, cost control, and forecasting.
• Assist in oversight of Accounts Payables and Account Receivables.
• Assist in internal annual audits for sight locations.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years' experience in service industry combined with a system-driven approach to credit control.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or finance.
• Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on pro-active approach with ability to work well autonomously.
• Possess relevant financial experience impacting key P&L and balance sheet lines, the experience to be a business partner to operations.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative way with business partners, key employees, senior leadership, and client groups.
• A self-starter to quickly learn through online tools and peers.
• Presentation Skills, ability to interact at any level of organization.
