About the role

This position is located in Arlington, VA, USA, and offers a hybrid working model. CGI Federal is seeking an Operations Engineer to advance the national security mission through cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance of a company's systems and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, often performing root cause analysis on production errors.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage projects related to system upgrades, new installations, or process improvements.
• Collaborate with various teams, including customer support, engineering, and other internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless operations and user experience.
• Document operational procedures, processes, and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 0 to 2 years of experience.
• TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly technical expertise.
• Deep understanding of systems, networks, databases, and operating systems.
• Ability to quickly identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Effective project management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,000.00 - $140000.00.
