Junior Operations Specialist
The Role
We're looking for a Junior Operations Specialist to support internal teams and help keep the business running smoothly. This is an entry-level role for someone who's organized, proactive, and comfortable working with data to support decision-making across the organization.
This is a launchpad role. You'll work across multiple functions—supporting product, analytics, account management, and operations teams—giving you broad exposure to how different parts of a data-driven business work together. You'll help with everything from coordinating projects and maintaining documentation to pulling data, building reports, and streamlining workflows. This kind of cross-functional visibility is rare early in a career, and it's designed to help you discover where your strengths and interests lie.
What You'll Do
- Data & Reporting Support
- Pull, organize, and analyze data from internal tools to support team needs
- Build and maintain dashboards, tracking sheets, and reports
- Prepare summaries and data snapshots for internal meetings and reviews
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Help teams access the information they need to make decisions
- Internal Operations Support
- Aid teams with day-to-day operational tasks and project coordination
- Help maintain internal documentation, processes, and workflows
- Track action items, deliverables, and deadlines across projects
- Support the execution of internal initiatives and process improvements
- Flag bottlenecks or issues and help troubleshoot solutions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with product, analytics, account management, and operations teams on various projects
- Cook up cross-functional initiatives to gather information, align timelines, and keep work on track
- Gain exposure to design and engineering through cross-team initiatives
- Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and planning sessions
- Tools & Process Management
- Help manage internal tools, systems, and shared resources
- Support onboarding of new tools or workflows
- Assist with QA and cleanup tasks to keep data and systems organized
- Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve efficiency (training provided—curiosity required)
Who You Are
- 0–2 years of experience (or relevant internships) in operations, marketing, analytics, business, or related fields
- Comfortable working with data—you can pull information, organize it, and present it clearly
- Hightly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets—you can build reports, use formulas, and keep things tidy
- A clear communicator who can work effectively across teams
- Proactive and resourceful—you figure things out and ask good questions
- Eager to learn new tools, systems, and ways of working
- Excited about using modern tools—including AI—to work smarter and move faster
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management or documentation tools (Notion, Asana, JIRA, Monday, etc.)
- Exposure to analytics, BI, or reporting tools
- Familiarity with SQL or interest in learning it
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing, or operations platforms
- Basic understanding of how startups or digital businesses operate
Salary Range
$60,000 - $65,000 USD
