Junior Operational Excellence Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from manufacturing systems, enterprise systems
• Affiliate in developing and maintaining dashboards and visualization tools using platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
• Sustain Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving productivity, yield, throughput, and equipment uptime
• Participate in Kaizen events and rapid improvement workshops to design better "future-state" processes
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support data-driven decision making and operational improvements
• Help develop and document training materials to ensure consistency across teams

Job Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data
• Basic understanding of manufacturing performance metrics such as yield and productivity
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (data cleaning, formulas) and PowerPoint; familiarity with process mapping tools like Visio or data visualization tools is often a plus
• Strong attention to detail with an interest in data validation, data integrity, and reporting accuracy
• A basic understanding of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (PDCA, DMAIC), and 5S principles
• Candidate should be flexible to work mid and night shifts on occasion based on project needs
