About the role

Lead NASC Process initiatives in developing and delivering next generation, world-class sortation and transportation systems.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize groundbreaking technologies to develop sortation and logistics systems.
  • Design systems and processes that leverage groundbreaking automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies and robotics.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time for our sortation and distribution systems.
  • Projects will be a variety of template-based and designed-from-scratch along with ownership of Process Designs end to end complementing each Design.
  • Coordinate efforts to develop optimal solutions and processes for the sortation and transportation network through material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
  • Domestic travel up to 25% may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role.

Basic Qualifications

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Engineering or related field followed by five years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Must have one year of experience in each of the following:

  • As industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Managing material handling or automation projects.
  • Design and/or implementation experience with integrated automation solutions, such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines.
  • Utilizing CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.).
  • Operations Management/Distribution Center experience.
  • Sigma, Lean manufacturing efforts, transportation/logistics and/or fulfillment/distribution centers.

Pay & Schedule

  • 40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Salary Range $93,662 - $114,900
