Operations Engineer Global PerformanceIQ Hub

FLSmidth Inc. is seeking an Operations Engineer for its Global PerformanceIQ Hub, based in Midvale, UT. This role involves leading, managing, and executing activities to develop the PerformanceIQ business line in the NAMER region. Remote work from home is permitted 40% of the time, and the candidate must live within commuting distance of the Midvale office. Travel is required 10% of the time for domestic and international trips lasting 3-4 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all activities to develop the PerformanceIQ business line in the NAMER region.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of mining operations, safety protocols, and process optimization.
• Analyze complex operational data to identify trends, generate insights, and support decision-making across circuits such as grinding, flotation, and tailings.
• Develop innovative solutions in dynamic environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related Engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the job offered or a related occupation, including:
  • 2 years’ experience providing in-depth knowledge of mining operations, safety protocols, and process optimization.
  • 2 years’ experience analyzing complex operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • 2 years’ experience developing innovative solutions in dynamic environments.
