This is a plant-facing role with responsibility for reliability, preventative maintenance, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement of the Energy Recovery Unit. The position offers a blend of maintenance leadership, project engineering, budgeting, contractor coordination, and operational support within a large manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Lead reliability and preventative maintenance initiatives for the Energy Recovery Unit
- Ensure environmental compliance, including air permitting and leak detection and repair (LDAR) programs
- Provide maintenance leadership and operational support in a manufacturing environment
- Manage budgets, capital projects, and contractor coordination
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Provide technical guidance and training to operations and maintenance personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (equivalent industry experience may be considered)
- Experience in manufacturing, power generation, chemical processing, utilities, or other heavy industrial environments
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), maintenance planning, and equipment reliability programs
- Knowledge of boilers, steam systems, pumps, valves, rotating equipment, and industrial process equipment
- Ohio Boiler Operator License (or ability to obtain one)
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with budget management, capital project execution, and contractor coordination

Pay
The pay range for this position is $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent factors.
