Operations Director

About the role

Valet Community Services offers a college repayment program to all employees and provides specialized Community Living Arrangement (CLA) services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The position supports the agency's goal of "Supporting People" by ensuring the effective management of CLA programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective operations of all assigned residential homes and programs
• Employ and supervise all Program Specialists within the CLA facilities
• Affirm that all assigned facilities adhere to effective Admission, Utilization Review and Discharge Activities
• Create a person-centered environment in all assigned facilities that ensures resident welfare
• Participate in the development of Individual Program Plans and use of appropriate ISP Terminology
• Affirm accurate and timely Program Records and Reports
• Ensure successful Consumer Involvement
• Affirm effective compliance with all state regulations to maintain licensure
• Adhere to the Agency’s philosophy which includes the mission, cause and core values
• Perform other mission-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, special education or related field
• A minimum of 5 years in the social service field
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management position with similar organizations
• Valid driver's license

$69,000.00 per year
