Operations Director

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Consulting Operations team. This role is responsible for providing operational support to our leaders and service teams, focusing on strategic leadership, implementation, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Supports leadership and ensures the smooth functioning of the organization.
• Amplifies the leaders' effectiveness and helps translate strategic vision into action.
• Acts as a strategic partner, managing key initiatives, facilitating communication, and contributing to the development and execution of growth strategies.
• Utilizes performance reports and systems to turn financial data into insight, monitoring profitability and plan attainment, and providing leaders with the reporting they need to run the business.
• Manages performance analysis, strategy implementation, and change management.
• Facilitates operational effectiveness with all internal functions, ensuring all supporting functions are aligned with business requirements.
• Provides business lifecycle process support and system knowledge to consulting leaders and team members.
• Participates in and provides change management support for internal initiatives.
• Operational Team Management: Provides oversight, performance management, development, coaching, and exit counseling of assigned operational team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with management level individuals.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a professional services firm with experience in corporate development, transactions, and/or collaborating with the office of the CFO.
• Previous experience in managing others in a team environment – direct or indirectly.
• Experience in navigating in a matrix reporting environment solving/resolving complex issues.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Strong financial skills, including analysis skills.

• Able to motivate, inspire, and develop individuals and teams to collaborate and deliver to their highest potential.
• Ability to define business requirements, present options, and secure management buy-in on appropriate solutions.
• Ability to support and assist with change implementation.

Special Requirements

• Project management certification or formal project management training, preferred.
