Operations Director

Primary Purpose

Direct and coordinate district maintenance, custodial, and transportation operations through department supervisors and managers. Provide leadership, oversight, planning, accountability, and support to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operational services that support student learning and district goals.

Education/Certification

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Clear and valid Texas driver's license

Special Knowledge/Skills

Knowledge of facilities, maintenance, custodial, and transportation operations Ability to supervise and evaluate personnel Knowledge of budgeting and resource management Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to analyze operational data and implement improvements Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills

Experience

5 years experience in facilities operations management Experience supervising personnel and managing departmental budgets Experience coordinating multiple departments or operational functions preferred
