Operations Crew Manager

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for team member safety.
• Oversee the completion of daily monitoring to include: safety/housekeeping checklists; process control conditions (temperature, pressure, level, etc); regulatory/compliance monitoring (air, water, SQF, GMP); and other monitoring as requested by Management.
• Oversee the execution of the daily production plan as provided by Chem Ops Management.
• Develop the skill set of team members.
• Ensure high housekeeping standards for production facility(s) are maintained.
• Assist warehouse personnel with packaging, raw material, and product movements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (“GED”).
• 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include 2 years of industrial manufacturing supervisory experience.

Work Environment

This position is based in our manufacturing plant environment. Expected exposure to wet, hot, cold, and various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Constant (more than 66% of the time / 5.5+ hrs/day): Use of fingers and hands. Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less & push/pull 12 lbs or less.
• Frequently (33% - 66% of the time / 2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day): Stand, climb stairs, walk, sit, reach outward, squat/kneel, bend. Lift/Carry 11-50 lbs & push/pull 13-40 lbs.
• Occasional (up to 33% of the time / 0 - 2.5+ hrs/day): Climb & crawl. Lift/Carry 51+ lbs & push/pull 41-100 lbs.
