Job Summary
The Operations Coordinator II (OC II) is responsible for providing administrative support for a department and coordinating projects and programs. This includes supporting development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating administrative activities related to assigned projects/programs
- Assisting with event planning and implementation
- Managing project/program logistics
- Coordinating meetings, conferences, educational activities, and other related events
- Developing and disseminating program/project materials
- Supporting communication for project/program
- Assisting with data collection, collating, and reporting
- Assisting with the coordination of and/or development and maintenance of databases to support program/project activities
- Working with leadership in developing, justifying, and monitoring department/project budget
- Coordinating and monitoring proposal processes
- Conducting literature reviews to support project/program activities
- Developing and/or maintaining websites related to assigned project/program
- Providing administrative support to the department and actively facilitating departmental operations and goal attainment
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree with four (4) years experience in advanced secretarial work OR
- Associate Degree with six (6) years experience in advanced secretarial work OR
- High school/GED with eight (8) years experience in advanced secretarial work
Skills & Proficiencies
- Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/Correspondence, Writing/Reports
- Proficiencies: MS Word, Personal Computer, Typing at 30 WPM
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical Abilities, Mathematics, Medical Terminology Knowledge, Research Knowledge and Abilities, Statistical Knowledge and Abilities, Transcription
- Other Requirements: Must be able to work in a team environment/as a member of a team; ability to adjust individual work assignments/priorities to accommodate/assist with those of other staff (as assigned/on own initiative)
