Operations Coordinator

US Foods · Columbia, SC · 1 mo ago
Manufacturing$16.35–$27.24/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes description: "Join Our Community of Food People! The Warehouse Coordinator will perform activities..." That's about the role. Also "BECOME A US FOODS® OPERATIONS COORDINATOR! LOCATED IN LEXINGTON, SC" maybe location. Also "Ready to build a career..." etc. We need sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content. We must preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "ARE YOU A CURRENT US FOODS EMPLOYEE? PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITE". Also remove "EOE ..." lines. Also remove "To review available benefits, please click here: ..."? That's a link to benefits; maybe we can keep benefits description but not the link? The instruction: remove application instructions. That link is not exactly application instruction but maybe considered benefits link. Safer to drop it. We need to extract: - About the role: The Warehouse Coordinator will perform activities that support inbound, outbound, and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight and proper distribution of warehouse items. Activities include data entry, preparation and distribution of reports, and record maintenance. Also "BECOME A US FOODS® OPERATIONS COORDINATOR! LOCATED IN LEXINGTON, SC Ready to build a career with a company that’s leading the foodservice industry?" Could be part of about. - Responsibilities: The "Essential Duties And Responsibilities" list: general warehouse, inbound/outbound functions, etc. We need to put as
  • . - Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: "Related Experience/Requirements: Minimum one-year production and/or warehouse experience required, preferably in a food environment." Also "Education High school diploma or GED/equivalent required." Also maybe "Preferred Qualifications" etc. We'll put under Requirements. - Qualifications: Could be "Preferred Qualifications" etc. But we need to decide sections: The instruction says use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have both Requirements and Qualifications separate. We need to decide what goes where. Typically Requirements = minimum qualifications, Qualifications = preferred qualifications. Skills = knowledge/skills/abilities list. Benefits = benefits description. Pay = pay rate. Schedule = schedule. Let's extract: Pay: "The expected base rate for this role is $23.50 per hour." Also later: "Compensation depends on relevant experience... The expected base rate for this role is between $16.35/hour and $27.24/hour." Also later: "The expected base rate for this role is between $16 - $25". There's conflicting numbers. We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all statements about pay. But we must not create placeholder text. So we can include multiple sentences. However we should avoid duplication? There's duplicated lines: "Compensation depends on relevant experience..." appears twice. We should remove duplicated lines. Keep unique. Thus pay content: - "The expected base rate for this role is $23.50 per hour." - "Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $16.35/hour and $27.24/hour." - "As Applicable, This Role May Also Receive Overtime Compensation." - Later: "Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state or local minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $16 - $25" We need to deduplicate similar sentences: The first compensation depends line appears twice with slight variation (state minimum wage thresholds vs state or local). We'll keep both? They are not identical; one says state minimum wage thresholds, the other says state or local minimum wage thresholds. Both are substantive. We'll keep both but maybe combine? The instruction: do not invent or summarize away detail. We could keep both as separate sentences. It's okay. Schedule: "Schedule is Sunday - Thursday, and every other Friday. Starting at 5:15pm until finish. Days and hours subject to change based on business needs" Benefits: "Benefits medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, strong safety culture, and much more!" Also later: "Benefits for this role may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance." Also "To review available benefits, please click here: https://www.usfoods.com/careers/benefits.html" (we may drop link). Also "strong safety culture" etc. We need to preserve all substantive info; we can combine but not lose detail. We'll list benefits as bullet list. Skills: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities list: Effective communication both verbally and in writing. Excellent telephone and customer service ability. Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail. Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division. Also maybe "Preferred Qualifications" includes: One-year Clerical warehouse admin work experience, Computer skills, data entry and word processing skills. We'll put those under Skills. Requirements: Minimum one-year production and/or warehouse experience required, preferably in a food environment. Education High school diploma or GED/equivalent required. Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: One-year Clerical warehouse admin work experience; Computer skills, data entry and word processing skills. Also maybe Certifications/Training N/A (but we should not include placeholder like N/A). So we skip that. Also we have "SUPERVISION: N/A" which is placeholder; we should drop. Also "RELATIONSHIPS" etc maybe not needed as a section; but we could include under About? But instruction: only include sections when posting has real specific content. Relationships could be part of About? But we have no heading for Relationships; we can ignore. Work Environment: maybe not a section; we could ignore or put under About? But we have no heading for Work Environment; we can ignore. Physical Qualifications: detailed list; we could put under Requirements? Or maybe under Qualifications? But we have no specific heading for Physical Qualifications; we could include under Requirements as part of qualifications. However the instruction says we can only use those headings; we could still include physical qualifications under Requirements or Qualifications as a list. It's substantive. We need to decide where to place physical qualifications. Could be under Requirements (since they are requirements). We'll include as a list under Requirements. Now we need to format: Use

    for section headings. Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. We must not repeat the job title as a heading. The job title is Warehouse Coordinator (or US Foods Operations Coordinator). We'll not add heading for that. We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. We must output only HTML fragment. Let's craft sections:

      About the role

Join Our Community of Food People! The Warehouse Coordinator will perform activities that support inbound, outbound, and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight and proper distribution of warehouse items. Activities include data entry, preparation and distribution of reports, and record maintenance. BECOME A US FOODS® OPERATIONS COORDINATOR! LOCATED IN LEXINGTON, SC Ready to build a career with a company that’s leading the foodservice industry?

But we need to ensure we don't have duplicated lines. The phrase "Join Our Community of Food People!" appears at start. We'll keep. Now Responsibilities:

      Responsibilities

      • Ensure optimal warehouse operations by preparing and processing routine forms, reports, and documents (inbound documents, outbound documents, discrepancy reports, stock and damage claims, time sheets, requisitions, shipping labels, etc.) following standard procedures.
      • Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs.
      • Respond to inquiries and telephone calls.
      • Respond to requests by researching information.
      • Collect, track, and input data on relevant operations metrics to support tracking warehouse performance, including shorts, mispicks, dump/damage, service level, associate over-time.
      • Support warehouse functions by checking returns and credit slips and assembling returned orders for proper return to picking slot.
      • Investigate picking errors and find missing products.
      • Interact with warehouse personnel to solve selecting and shipping issues.
      • Complete outbound paperwork and reports including documents for selecting crew, route loading, drivers, and trucks received at night; Update the master storage report.
      • Other duties as assigned by manager.
      Now Requirements:

      Requirements

      • Minimum one-year production and/or warehouse experience required, preferably in a food environment.
      • High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
We could also add physical qualifications as list under Requirements? Might be better to add a separate section? But we don't have a heading for Physical Qualifications; we could incorporate under Requirements as additional list items. Let's add physical qualifications as list items under Requirements (maybe separate
but we can continue same list). However we need to keep the format: any list of duties/requirements/benefits uses
        • . So we can add more
        • under Requirements. Physical qualifications details: Must be able to perform the following physical activities for the described length of time: OCCASIONALLY: 1% - 33 / FREQUENTLY: 34% - 66% / CONTINUOUSLY: 67% - 100% or NEVER JOB REQUIRES WORKER TO: FREQUENCY: STAND CONTINUOUSLY WALK CONTINUOUSLY DRIVE VEHICLE N/A SIT FREQUENTLY LIFT 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) FREQUENTLY 11-20 lbs (Light) FREQUENTLY 21-50 lbs (Medium) FREQUENTLY 51-100 lbs (Heavy) OCCASIONALLY Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) N/A CARRY 1-10 lbs (Sedentary) FREQUENTLY 11-20 lbs (Light) FREQUENTLY 21-50 lbs (Medium) FREQUENTLY 51-100 lbs (Heavy) OCCASIONALLY Over 100 lbs (Very Heavy) N/A PUSH/PULL *1 FREQUENTLY CLIMB/BALANCE *2 FREQUENTLY STOOP/SQUAT FREQUENTLY KNEEL FREQUENTLY BEND FREQUENTLY REACH ABOVE SHOULDER FREQUENTLY TWIST FREQUENTLY GRASP OBJECTS *3 FREQUENTLY MANIPULATE OBJECTS *4 FREQUENTLY MANUAL DEXTER
