Position supports operational efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and profitability through administrative processes. Provides superior customer service and communication to internal and external customers, and supports the branch financial manager with guidance that contributes to branch performance.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay
$19.50/hour
Responsibilities
- Financial Operations
- Oversee accounts receivable process and maintain local collection contacts to support centralized function.
- Monitor weekly and monthly lease, contract maintenance, and special billing; resolve issues promptly.
- Establish and control processes that support customer service and branch profitability.
- Fleet Operations
- Complete fleet service activities: licensing, permitting, in/out service vehicles, research and process citations.
- Track and coordinate asset outside services such as unit jacket file, wash sheets, fueling, and vendor support.
- Partner with Fleet Services to align local and centralized functions for licensing, permitting, citations, and other fleet operations.
- Process Analytics
- Perform analyses in billing, 1211 reports, credit memos, citations, accounts receivable, licensing, and related areas.
- Investigate and recommend solutions to issues that impact profitability drivers.
- Use systems like QlikView or AS400 to understand operational dynamics for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Other Responsibilities
- Maintain district personnel files, JJ Keller reports, complete weekly payroll, and process new-hire paperwork.
- Handle projects and tasks assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
- Interpersonal and relationship-building skills with ability to collaborate across the branch team.
- Competent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service or financial administrative experience.
- Agile, quick learner who enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
- Willingness to travel as needed, work the required schedule, and work at the specified location.
- Must complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.
