Operations Coordinator

About the role
This position will perform general administrative duties for the assigned department, including routine clerical functions and support for multiple departments simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze inventory and items shipped reports
- Prepare and produce daily production schedule, labels, and manufacturing orders based on inventory and customer demand
- Communicate schedule changes with production and customer service in a timely manner
- Assist in forecasting sales demands to maximize production efficiencies
- Ensure accurate daily production reporting and daily schedule control report
- Perform daily yard reconciliation and review junk reporting and root causes
- Manage and maintain Mold Management system, including setup, location, and life cycle of all molds
- Determine and recommend purchase of new molds
- Manage current and new item setup in Infor Cloud
- Monitor raw material inventory, including verification of receiving materials and pricing updates
- Prepare and issue purchase orders related to raw materials and coordinate with vendors
- Assist accounting department with purchase order discrepancies
- Support customer service department with inquiries related to product availability
- Participate in quarterly finished goods inventory
- Review and assist with quarterly Bill of Materials updates
- Effectively communicate issues related to schedule, raw materials, delivery delays, etc. with site leaders
- Maintain historical records by filing documents
- Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent training, experience, and education
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or accounting business experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees and managers
- Strong communications skills, verbal, written, in-person, and by telephone
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills
- Strong analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources and report findings
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience using Tableau, Infor OS Cloud, and Salesforce Software preferred
Working conditions
- Frequent sitting and standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers to use a computer and keyboard
- Must wear company-provided personal protective equipment: earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses
- Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in the Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employment
Pay
Pay Range: $25 - $29 per hour, based on experience
