Operations Coordinator
Job Description
The Gate Coordinator is responsible for overseeing boarding and unloading aircrafts, as well as maintaining positive client relations. The role requires managing day-to-day operations within the concourse, safely boarding and deplaning passengers, collecting SSR lists, staging and collecting wheelchairs, performing wellness checks, and supporting subordinate employees.
Client Relations
- Effectively communicate with airline management and the public.
- Maintain a positive image by responding to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public.
- Monitor employee activity and adjust as needed.
Skills Required
- Two years of previous customer experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills.
- Knowledgeable about local, state, and federal regulations related to the hiring process and employment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in word processing and typing.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to work as a team, focus on details, and adapt to changing environments.

Location and Shift Availability
This position can be performed in person at the Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville, Kentucky. Shift availability includes Day Shift (preferred), Night Shift (preferred), and Overnight Shift (preferred).
