Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Three years of administrative assistant and/or clerking experience.
- Proficient computer and math skills with strong data entry abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills and positive interactions with internal/external customers and vendors.
- Consistent and dependable attendance to support business operations and team needs.
- Valid State of Hawaii driver’s license, Class 3 or higher, to operate an automobile or SUV with an acceptable driving record.
- Must pass a job description physical capacity functions test, drug screening, and security background check.
- Must obtain a TWIC security card.
- Good judgment and in good health.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Maintenance Management and Purchasing.
- Experience in the construction materials or manufacturing industry.
- Experience using JDE, spreadsheet servers, BI, or Kronos.
Responsibilities
- Organizes and maintains files for the Cement Division, including personnel files, Tool Box and Safety Committee Minutes, Compliance Suite, and Equipment Pre-Checks.
- Prepares New Hire and Site-Specific Safety orientation materials and assists with orientation(s), including acquiring employee badges, TWIC Cards, and MARSEC Training.
- Manages Division maintenance work orders using company IT tools and systems.
- Maintains Asset Control Forms to ensure new, retired, or transferred equipment is accurately recorded and processed in appropriate IT systems, including JDE.
- Participates in the Division safety training program.
- Coordinates Division personnel travel and PPE Safety requirements.
- Conducts drug and alcohol tests for the Division.
- Provides assistance to Cement Division personnel as needed and serves as backup support to the billing clerk/admin receptionist, including arranging travel and lodging in accordance with company policies.
- Handles regular phone interactions, email, and computer application work.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, ensuring they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Prioritizes safety, preventing unsafe actions and promoting company safety and environmental policies.
- Promotes the company’s Mission and Vision statements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Able to work in varying environments, including main offices, office trailers, batch plants, and jobsites.

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
