This is a full-time, on-site position based on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD or Baltimore, MD. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred.
What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to teams supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
- Help ensure that program operations, workflows, and coordination activities are executed efficiently in support of NIH mission objectives.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure smooth execution of operational processes.
- Track tasks, deliverables, schedules, and follow-ups to support team workflows.
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and reports related to operations and project activities.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, staffing coordination, and general team logistics.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal coordination across functional teams.
- Assist with process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting operations, administration, and/or project coordination activities.
- Familiarity with project management tools or task-tracking systems.
- Experience coordinating across cross-functional or remote teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00–$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
