Operations Coordinator
About the role
At Duke’s, our operations team is the engine that keeps everything moving. We are now seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities
- Cook up projects from cradle to grave by working with managers and customers to gather essential project details (kick off, scheduling, deliverables, permitting, maps, documentation, and close out)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations leaders, quality control, and other teams
- Review and assist with approval of timesheets and per diem
- Support DOT vehicle compliance requirements
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Cook up crew travel (hotel arrangements, billing, logistics)
- Organize and maintain operational documentation and records
- Aid in new hire onboarding and orientation setup
- Manage ordering of supplies, materials, and inventory levels
- Run occasional job-related errands as needed using company vehicle
- Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize disruption
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean MVR
- College degree in business or related field, preferred
- At least 2 years of project coordination experience in a construction-related industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to easily establish rapport with both internal teams and external clients
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive, deadline-driven mindset
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, intermediate Excel, Outlook, Teams, and ERP systems) and willingness to learn internal systems and adapt to new technology
- Basic accounting knowledge (AR/AP) for invoice coding and approvals
- A problem-solving mindset
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and part of a team

We offer a salary or wage that's commensurate with the market, qualifications, experience, education, skills, training, certifications, and/or seniority.

Preferred work hours: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm OR 9am - 5pm
