Operations Coordinator
About the role
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for dispatching units to pick up and deliver freight, monitoring drivers' performance, and ensuring customer timelines are adhered to.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate road repairs and service of fleet
- Maintain communication with PDC Supervisor for status reports on correct loading by unit and timely departures
- Ensure driver concerns reported to dispatch are responded to and closed off within reasonable or expected timelines
- Arrange daily deliveries, assign pick-up requests, and enter orders in the computer
Requirements
- Transportation background in dispatch, dock supervision, or similar
- Computer literate in Excel and Word MS products, TMS Systems, web-based programs are beneficial
- High School graduate or equivalent

$21 - $24/hr, possibly higher for excellent experience
