About the role
The Operations Coordinator for the Department of Anesthesia & Critical Care (DACC) supports clinical programs, research initiatives, and administrative tasks. The role involves process improvement, event coordination, website management, and financial oversight.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates research initiatives and coordinates special projects and events.
- Maintains departmental leadership contact lists and emergency operations manuals.
- Manages updates to the DACC website and social media profiles.
- Coordinates alumni relations and manages visitor applications and orientations.
- Liaises with external presenters and handles logistics for guest speakers.
- Facilitates administrative needs supporting the research mission.
- Monitors finances and ensures adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Acts as a liaison between the section and other University departments.
- Performs other related work as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years of administrative experience in an academic medical institution.
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Experience with central administration in a complex research university environment.
