About the role
The Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations at the BayCare Systems Office and of multiple outpatient centers while assisting with planning and development for future locations. This role combines facility operations, tenant relations, customer service, and property coordination responsibilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for physician tenants, patients, visitors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating concierge, maintenance, vendor, and volunteer functions to support efficient facility operations and service delivery.
- Serving as the primary on-site liaison for facility services, physician tenants, leasing agents, landlords, vendors, and property management partners.
- Assisting with tenant occupancy activities, including identifying prospective physician tenants and partnering with the Medical Staff Office to initiate credentialing activities.
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH PHYSICIAN TENANTS AND SERVING AS THE PRIMARY CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTACT FOR OPERATIONAL AND FACILITY-RELATED NEEDS.
- MONITORING AND ADDRESSING FACILITY OPERATIONAL ISSUES WHILE ESCALATING CONCERNS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO LEADERSHIP IN A TIMELY MANNER.
- SUPPORTING FACILITY PLANNING, BUILDING OPERATIONS, TENANT RELATIONS INITIATIVES, AND ADDITIONAL PROJECTS AND DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Experience
- Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Facilities Management, Property Management, Real Estate, or a related field and 1 year of healthcare, facility operations, property management, real estate, or related experience; or High school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: 1 year of Project Management experience, 1 year of Operations experience, 1 year of Planning experience.
- Experience in facility operations, property management, commercial real estate, tenant relations, or vendor management.
Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Facilities Management, Property Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
- PREFERRED: Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Certifications
- PREFERRED: Certified Risk Manager (CRM)
