Life at Isaac
This is not a desk job. As a consultant, you will work with all levels of a business—from the shop floor to the boardroom—on a daily basis. You will own and manage your own initiatives and outcomes. Spending time on the front line with a welder, machine operator, or technician will help you fully understand the problems they face. You'll roll up your sleeves, run trials, and observe problems first-hand to gain the insight, credibility, and confidence needed to set direction in the boardroom.
Your technical, problem-solving ability will allow you to tackle complex problems, implement change, and ensure improvement is seen on the financial bottom line. We find this approach much more effective and enjoyable than simply writing reports.
We push ourselves in all aspects of our lives. You will be given a lot of responsibility early in your career and will be challenged beyond your comfort zone, but we'll support you every step of the way. We value work-life balance and enforce a rule that we don’t work on weekends—after 6pm on Friday, your only job is to make the most of the weekend.
Isaac's Head Office is located in Toronto, Ontario. In your first year, you will join an immersive onboarding exchange in Toronto to build foundational skills and integrate into the broader team before settling into your ongoing role. Beyond that, you can expect to travel to the Head Office regularly for company meetings, socials, and other team moments.
