Job Description
- Leads others in completing tasks in accordance with procedures and applicable codes and/or standards.
- Acts as Technical subject-matter expert or promotes liaison with the Technical Subject-Matter experts.
- Makes sure that competency gaps in FlyWOCS are monitored and competency plans are developed for training and technical improvement.
- Manages and resolves client concerns regarding technical consistency, customer feedback, and requests.
- Facilitates the enhancement of operational complexity with multiple skids operating across offshore vessels.
- Ensures a unified approach to technical assurance across offshore execution.
- Promotes core competencies in communication, teamwork, safety, and customer focus.
- Trains and mentors local content for offshore vessel operations.
- Defines and implements competency and training plans to enhance technical skills.
- Oversees the communication of all quality issues and documentation (equipment and procedural defects) to Service Management.
- Serves as the on-site supervisor for the field service crew and reports back to Service Management as needed.
- Assists in the development of procedural requirements for current and future jobs.
- Fulfills a mentoring role for the TSP and Installation Engineering teams in areas such as electrical, subsea equipment, hydraulics equipment, mechanical equipment and tools, and structural steel.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent technical diploma.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in offshore installations as an Installation Engineer or Lead TSP with TechnipFMC.
- Direct experience with FLWYOCS and FOX systems; Innova is acceptable.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following fields: electrical, subsea equipment, hydraulics equipment, mechanical equipment and tools, and structural steel.
- Able to read and understand electrohydraulic drawings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing moderately complex calculations.
- Capable of understanding, troubleshooting, and explaining technical tools and instruments required to perform duties, specifically related to FLYWOCS and FLYWOCS software systems.
- Knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted internal business processes and procedures.
- Aptitude to provide guidance to engineering teams related to efficiencies within written procedures.
- Experience leading people and processes, including personnel in offshore locations.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to manage complex situations and bring problems to resolution.
Qualifications
