Operations Associate

About the Role

The Operations Associate assists the Product Lifecycle Manager with daily material handling in a retail branch location, achieving operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts, and/or powered equipment.
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks.
• Communicate effectively with Merchandising and Inventory teams to stock products in correct merchandising locations.
• Address operational issues with the Product Lifecycle Manager.
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed.
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the store.

Physical Requirements

• Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.
• Requires effective communication using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Requires regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50 lbs.

Experience

• Demonstrated knowledge of the business model and a strong work ethic.
• Basic customer service skills and ability to function well with coworkers.
• Strong verbal communication skills and critical thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Education
