Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with our custodian partners to ensure smooth paperwork processing, resolve discrepancies, and manage margin requirements.
• Manage new client account setup, documentation, and serve as a primary point of contact for operational inquiries.
• Ensure all operational activities adhere to internal policies and financial regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency, potentially by assisting with the implementation of new software or automation tools.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams on new financial products by assessing operational feasibility, designing workflows, and testing implementation processes.

Requirements

• Experience working with RIA custodians such as Charles Schwab, Pershing, Fidelity, or similar institutions.
• Experience supporting advisor, brokerage, wealth management, or RIA operations.
• A strong understanding of account opening, transfers, and operational workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with options, derivatives, margin lending, or securities-backed lending products is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, Retool, Zapier, or other automation platforms is a plus.
• Startup experience is a plus.
