Responsibilities

The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Executing contract requirements and supporting the project’s safety, schedule, and quality objectives
• Exemplifying Holder’s commitment to safety and enforcing compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Overseeing on-site workforces, coordinating daily scope, sequencing, and inspection of installed work
• Assigning responsibilities and collaborating with office and field teams to support project goals and manage risk
• Managing project site logistics and organizing on-site activities to maintain workflow efficiency
• Providing leadership and mentorship to associates, supporting professional growth and team development
• Reading and interpreting construction design documents and specifications
• Performing additional responsibilities as needed to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering-related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and time management abilities

Preferred experience includes managing or supporting complex commercial construction projects and familiarity with safety, quality, and schedule management standards in commercial construction.
