Core Responsibilities
- Cook up daily coordination with DSPs and drivers for attendance, route readiness, and compliance.
- Check-in, route assign, and departure timeline verify.
- Monitor driver performance, POD compliance, and communication quality.
- Report service or behavioral issues to Hub Manager if necessary.
- Get ready daily routes according to volume and cutoff time.
- Confirm route allocation accuracy and system alignment before driver departure.
- Give drivers a dispatch briefing (special notes, weather, backlog, service reminders).
- Ensure all scanners/devices are functional before route launch.
- Handle failed deliveries, reassign redelivery routes, and manage next-day completion.
- Watch out for overdue packages and avoid backlog buildup.
- Track repeat failure addresses and escalate recurring issues.
- Fix incorrect or incomplete addresses in the system.
- Communicate corrected information to drivers and DSP teams.
- Pinpoint and categorize exception packages (damaged, missing, customer unavailable, restricted access, etc.).
- Investigate root causes and document findings.
- Collaborate with warehouse team for package location and status verification.
- Make sure all exceptions are updated properly and accurately.
- Keep real-time communication open between dispatch, DSPs, warehouse, and management.
- Provide daily dispatch and exception summary reports.
- Support operational improvements to boost dispatch efficiency and cut costs.
Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, last-mile operations, or dispatch coordination.
- Familiarity with DSP model and driver performance management.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Excel and dispatch systems.
- Bilingual (English/Chinese) preferred.
- Willingness to work evening/night shifts (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM).
