About the role
The Arts & Sciences Interdisciplinary Science Cooperative (ISC) was established in 2019 in the state-of-the-art Physics & Astronomy Interdisciplinary Science (PAÍS) facility to foster interdisciplinary collaboration across the University and beyond and strengthen research and educational outcomes. The ISC supports seven Centers and Core Laboratories engaged in interdisciplinary research at UNM and beyond. ISC operations provide administrative, financial, research, facility, and project support to help faculty, staff, and students succeed in a collaborative research environment. This position provides an opportunity for a student to develop practical workplace skills in administration, communication, financial processes, technology, and project coordination while gaining professional experience in a collaborative university research environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the ISC and its affiliated Centers and Core Laboratories under direct supervision.
