Operations Assistant

What You’ll Do

• Cook up and support daily warehouse and installation operations
• Hit the road to job sites as needed to check installations and make sure quality standards are met
• Chat with flooring technicians, sales reps, and customers to solve problems
• Make sure installations are done on time and line up with expectations
• Operate warehouse equipment, pull materials, and help with loading/unloading
• Keep the warehouse neat, clean, and ready to go
• Process and get orders out to subcontractors and internal teams
• Sell and hand out materials and supplies to subcontractors
• Track inventory and tag items accurately
• Inspect vehicles, equipment, and tools to ensure safety and performance

• Speak clearly and fix issues before they become big problems
• Handle lots of stuff at once and stay sharp and efficient

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of relevant experience
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, procedures, and operational instructions
• Proficiency with warehouse equipment and machinery
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials during your shift
• Basic math skills (fractions, measurements, and calculations)
• Basic computer skills (Word; beginner to intermediate Excel)
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
