Operations and Maintenance Manager

About the role

Solutions Sustainability is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Data Center Manager. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring they meet high standards of efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
• Manage energy consumption and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve sustainability
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure and enhance performance
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center management or similar role
• Experience with data center design, construction, and operation
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and cooling systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with data center automation tools and software
• Knowledge of green computing practices and technologies
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and services

Pay

$80,000 - $120,000 annually
