Responsibilities
- Support founders or executive directors with coordination, follow-through, and operational execution
- Use lightweight coordination approaches to track progress, maintain momentum, and support day-to-day operations
- Prepare written decision support materials, handoffs, and status updates
- Work across distributed teams to keep priorities aligned and moving forward
- Use AI tools for task extraction, workflow support, and document retrieval
Requirements
- Experience supporting founders or executive directors in mission-driven organizations, including direct work with senior leaders
- At least 4 years of experience working in smaller organizations with limited structure and oversight
- Experience using a CRM or workflow management tool, along with proficiency in Google Workspace
- Ability to use AI tools for task extraction, workflow support, and document retrieval, with comfort experimenting with and learning new AI tools
- Experience working in research or sustainability contexts and collaborating across distributed teams
- Experience using lightweight coordination approaches for follow-through and operational tracking
- Strong written communication skills, with experience preparing decision support materials, handoffs, and status updates
- Proficiency with Slack is a plus
- Availability to work in North America or Europe-friendly time zones is preferred
