About the role

The Operations and Bookkeeping Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and financial management of a department, ensuring efficient processes and accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage financial records and reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial data to senior management for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Schedule
