Operations Analyst II, Reporting & Compliance - Capital Projects International

Primary Responsibilities

• Cook up and track capital infrastructure projects, making sure projects are set up correctly, have good documentation, and keep everyone updated on their status.
• Keep a close eye on how projects are going, including deadlines and costs, to make sure everything stays on schedule and within budget.
• Work with different teams to gather and check information about projects, helping everyone understand what's happening and what's expected.
• Make reports and use special software to show how much money is being spent, how projects are doing, and what's happening in meetings with people outside our company.
• Look at the numbers to find patterns, problems, and things that might cause trouble, then tell people about it and help fix the issues.
• Support the planning and tracking of capital projects, keeping an eye on how much money is being used and how projects are going.
• Make sure all the important papers and information are kept neatly and can be found easily.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in operations, compliance, audit, or data analysis.
• Experience using data analysis and reporting tools like Excel and Power BI.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Some experience with capital projects, infrastructure, or construction environments is helpful.
• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) and familiarity with BI tools.
• Ability to work with structured data and follow defined analytical frameworks.
• Experience working in cross-functional or multi-country environments is a plus.
• Physical requirements: able to stoop, bend, kneel or crouch, stand, walk, and sit for long periods. Visual ability corrected to 20/20. Manual dexterity to input data and operate necessary equipment. Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Work environment: office/cubicle workspace, moderate noise level.
