About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes, business rules, data acquisition, and application methods for business practice advancement, operational performance enhancement, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct methodical, non-routine examinations of office-specific data through advanced analysis routines, queries, and scripts.
  • Present findings and recommendations through the creation of custom reports, charts, and maps.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology to maintain specialty hardware, including data loading/unloading, error message interpretation, SQL statement development, script updating, mass dataset editing, and software database performance analysis.
  • Test and evaluate new/existing technologies and business practices for practical and feasible implementation.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of operational, mathematical, analytical, and statistical research techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of multiple regression or multivariate analysis, measurement and testing, and interview methods and questionnaire design.
  • Ability to understand and comprehend instructions dealing with technical and abstract theories.
  • Ability to determine proper research methods, collect appropriate data, and draw conclusions.
  • Advanced knowledge of the agency mission and administrative policies.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer and software programs and the ability to utilize these skills in job duties.
  • Ability to take abstract concepts and formulate physical models.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to research and document findings, formulate sound recommendations, and make appropriate decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize a variety of projects/functions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Pay

The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

Schedule

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
