Job Title: Operations Analyst Location: Boston, MA (hybrid)Salary: $90k-$125k + bonus Summary:This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing hedge fund focused on volatility, risk hedging, and OTC derivatives strategies, where you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the operational infrastructure behind a quantitative trading platform. Working directly alongside the founders and traders in a lean, highly collaborative team, you will gain exposure to the full trade lifecycle while helping drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational scalability across options, volatility, and derivatives products. In this role you will be responsible for: Supporting the full trade lifecycle across OTC derivatives, options, and volatility-focused strategies, including trade capture, reconciliation, settlement, exception management, and daily cash, position, and P&L oversight.Partnering directly with Traders, Founders, Prime Brokers, and other counterparties to resolve breaks, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of trading activity across the platform.Leveraging Python, SQL, Excel, and other technologies to automate manual processes, improve data quality, analyze large datasets, and enhance operational scalability.Working cross-functionally with Operations, Technology, Risk, and Investment teams to develop and improve the firm's trading and operational infrastructure while driving strategic process improvement initiatives.Taking ownership in a lean team environment, gaining broad exposure across operations, trading support, business management, and the continued growth of the platform. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills: 2-5 years of experience in Trade Operations, Investment Operations, Middle Office, or a related function within a hedge fund, asset manager, bank, or broker-dealer.Bachelor's degree from a strong academic institution, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.Strong interest in financial markets, derivatives, options, volatility strategies, and quantitative investing.Exposure to Python, SQL, or other programming languages, with a passion for automation and technology-driven problem solving.
