About the role
The Operations Analyst supports investment and custodial operations, focusing on accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of processes. They partner with internal teams and external vendors to manage various operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily and periodic operational responsibilities are completed accurately, consistently, and within deadlines.
- Maintain a strong understanding of departmental workflows and operational procedures.
- Oversee outsourced operational functions, including reconciliation, corporate action processing, and market data management.
- Monitor vendor performance and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps.
- Support the full trade lifecycle from execution through settlement, collaborating with internal teams, brokers, and custodians.
- Investigate and resolve trade allocation and settlement issues to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Manage billing operations, including setting up new billing schedules and generating invoices.
- Prepare and distribute quarterly and periodic client reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in reviewing and validating investment performance data included in client reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: Five to seven years of investment operations experience or similar financial services industry experience.
- Attributes: Team-first attitude, ability to perform a variety of functions, intellectual curiosity, and interest in learning new systems and processes.
- Preferred skills and experience: Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities, experience with investment management systems, knowledge of regulatory environments, familiarity with trade lifecycle processes, project management abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Base salary range: $75,000 to $100,000 USD annually.
