Operations Analyst
Position Summary
The Underwriting Operations Analyst is a Python & Intelligent Automation Developer – Underwriting Operations responsible for designing and deploying end-to-end automation solutions across underwriting and operational workflows. This role combines Python development with Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft 365 Copilot to orchestrate intelligent, event-driven processes that reduce manual effort, enhance data accuracy, and accelerate underwriting execution.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build automation solutions using Python and Power Automate.
Develop event-triggered workflows integrating multiple systems.
Replace manual keystroke-driven activities with programmatic processes.
Design and implement Copilot-driven agents to support underwriting processes.
Integrate Python, Power Automate, and Copilot to create automated workflows.
Trigger AI-driven workflows programmatically.
Enable underwriting operations by identifying and automating manual tasks across the underwriting lifecycle.
Support submission processing, validation, and policy lifecycle activities.
Build data pipelines to extract, transform, and load underwriting data.
Ensure data integrity across systems.
Develop automated QA frameworks using Copilot, Power Automate and Python.
Validate policy and submission data accuracy.
Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable automation solutions.
Ensure compliance with internal audit and data standards.
Maintain documentation and scalable design practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Experience with Python, Power Automate and automation tools.
PREFERRED: Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-driven automation.
PREFERRED: Insurance underwriting or operations experience.

Pay
The anticipated base salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 USD (Phoenix, AZ, Chicago, IL, Princeton, NJ, Red Bank, NJ, and Short Hills, NJ), $50,000 - $65,000 CAD (Halifax, Nova Scotia).
