Key Responsibilities
- Travel to field locations throughout Wyoming, North Dakota, Texas, Louisiana, and Montana.
- Review and validate operational procedures for compliance with OIMS 6-1 requirements.
- Work directly with field SMEs to refine:
- Operational procedures
- Task Analysis Worksheets (TAWs)
- Work practices and execution methods
- C Conduct field validations to verify procedure accuracy, completeness, and usability.
- Facilitate discussions with operations personnel to ensure procedures accurately reflect field conditions and operational constraints.
- Partner with technical writers and documentation teams to incorporate field feedback.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities within existing procedures.
- Ensure finalized procedures are clear, actionable, and compliant.
- Act as liaison between field operations and documentation teams.
Requirements
- Strong operations, field operations, or procedure development background.
- Working knowledge of OIMS 6-1 or similar operational procedure/work practice systems.
- Experience collaborating with SMEs, operations personnel, and documentation teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in field environments.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
- 10–15 years of field operations experience.
- Minimum 5 years as:
- Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) professional, and/or
- Person In Charge (PIC).
- Procedure writing, verification, or operational documentation experience.
- Experience with operational safety and compliance frameworks.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in regulated or high-risk operational environments.
Qualifications
- 14/14 rotational schedule is required.
- Heavy operations and procedures background is required.
- 10–15 years field operations experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years SHE and/or PIC experience strongly preferred.
- Extensive travel required throughout but not exclusively to:
- Wyoming
- North Dakota
- Texas
- Louisiana
- Montana
