Job Description

You will be a champion for implementing quality planning methodologies for cross-drive transmission development projects. You'll be central part in ensuring the smooth and efficient launch of high-quality Allison cross-drive transmissions.

Lead and Participate

  • Facilitate seamless collaboration between product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and other departments throughout the project.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Control Plans specific to transmissions, ensuring they address critical quality considerations.
  • Analyze warranty, customer, and internal first-time quality data to mitigate recurrence in future products.
  • Assurance to Allison manufacturing best practices by coordinating design for manufacturing and design for assembly events.

Prepare and Deliver Presentations

  • Prepare and deliver presentations on best practices for achieving exceptional transmission quality within internal teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transmission development, quality assurance, or similar field
  • Experience with FMEA and Control Plan development
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position is full-time and works Monday through Friday, with standard business hours.
