About the role
We are seeking an Operational Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in protecting and growing our business with a top global tech client.
Key Accountabilities
- Protect and grow business with a top global tech client
- Manage client relationships at all levels, serving as the primary point of contact and escalation for new projects and issues
- Interface with internal stakeholders to coordinate collaboration and execute on customer commitments
- Evaluate client needs against current services and solutions to identify new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Prepare and maintain KPI/scorecard data for regular business reviews
- Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including operations, engineering, and management resources
- Ensure consistent processes and best practices across all sites
- Pursue and lead new opportunities and renewals, track service change requests, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- University degree required; business or engineering degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in contract logistics and freight forwarding
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across borders
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset; Lean, Six Sigma experience or certification is a plus
- High customer service focus and strong business acumen
- Tight organizational and time management skills
- Experience in managing opportunity pipelines and winning new business
- Fluency in English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese is valued
